A farm member did me the favor of introducing me to vegetable fritters this past weekend. They are now all I want to eat. Shredded vegetable, egg, herb/spice, your favorite flour, fried in your favorite oil and then sprinkled with salt. Fast and delicious. It is like having a carnival all the time. I have been making mine with squash, scallion, and basil. So good.
In on farm news, we at last all of our garlic out of the ground! Quite a feat. I estimate we hefted around 10,000 heads out of the field. All looking pretty good too! Come get some at market!
