This year we get to start all of our seedlings in our own greenhouse! That is one of the most exciting things yet! We are keeping a close eye on the high and low temps in the greenhouse to see how much heating we will have to do. More on that in a future email. Also, this is finally the year that we will be turning in our Organic Certification application. After three years of following the rules and keeping records it is finally time to make it official for the fourth. I will keep you all posted on that aspect as it develops as well.
In sad news, we will unfortunately, not be participating in the Somerville Market this year. Jim and I have weighed our options and to make our lives manageable and sane-ish, we have to let go of a market. While we hate to leave, it is the best choice for us at this time.
The main focus today: Sign-ups for our 2016 CSA memberships start now. Open an account with us and use it to pay for your vegetables all season long! We plan to have quite the variety and are really looking forward to implementing some new streamlined ideas that will make growing easier!
